Reviews and Ratings
My holiday at the hotel was truly unforgettable thanks to the outstanding service and luxurious tents that really made the experience exceptional. The large room with a fantastic shower and bath added a touch of luxury to our stay. The only downside was the slightly higher pricing, but overall, the value for money was worth it.
The hotel has spacious rooms with a nice big bathroom, but they were not ready even by 3 pm. The service is super-friendly and very knowledgeable, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The location is utterly stunning with beautiful green surroundings, but it is not very close to other dining options. The dining offers a good variety of European and local cuisine in a luxury tent setting. Despite some room delays, the overall experience was positive.
The hotel offers spacious and very clean rooms at a great value, though its location, about 15 km from Sigiriya, may be inconvenient for those relying on public transport. The service was mixed, with incredible hospitality but occasionally slow responses. The breathtaking surroundings and wildlife make up for any inconvenience. Dining options varied, with a mix of European and local cuisine at higher prices. Facilities were adequate with home-made pastries available.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, with a small balcony overlooking the lovely garden areas in a cottage type setting, were way too dark nestled within trees. The service, although warm and friendly, had some confusion regarding the billing system and lacked a smile at times. The location was fantastic, offering great views over the local farming areas to Sigiriya Rock, but it was disappointing that some services were not open early enough for convenience. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some amazing dishes but also some shortcomings in availability. Overall, the facilities were good, but there were a few areas that could use improvement in terms of value for money.
The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were initially disappointing with a non-functional room Wi-Fi issue, but the superior room provided a lovely experience despite a minor cleanliness issue and ant presence. The service was consistently friendly and efficient, facilitating various trip arrangements. The location, though serene with beautiful natural surroundings, lacked air conditioning. The dining experience was good but slightly overpriced. Overall, a peaceful stay with some minor inconveniences.
The hotel is a special retreat tucked away in the trees, offering a large room with a very comfy bed. The location is fantastic and pleasant for visiting major tourist attractions in the area. The dining options are good quality but come with a high price tag, while the service goes above and beyond to make your stay the best possible.
